Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer Trust nominated for Charity Business of the Year Award

The Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer Trust received a nomination for Charity Business of the Year as part of the Herefordshire and Worcestershire Chamber Business Awards which took place on 15th June at the Worcester Arena.

CEO and Founder, Dr Jen Kelly was accompanied by Operations & Fundraising Manager, Emma Williams, Trustee, Darren Wilkins and Corporate & Community Fundraiser, Coralie Hudson.

The evening brought together over 700 individuals to celebrate local business across both Herefordshire and Worcestershire. The Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer Trust were nominated alongside four other local charities. Staff at the trust felt very honoured to be shortlisted for the final awards and privileged to be able to attend the evening thanks to City Signs, Worcester kindly sponsoring their tickets.

The team awaited the results in great anticipation, but it was the Wyre Forest & South Worcestershire Nightstop & Mediation Service who walked away with the award on the night.

Despite being runners up this year, Team Ladybird were presented with a Highly Commended Certificate for their services to children and families facing childhood cancer.
