Take on the Wing Walk Challenge for Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer Trust
If you’re looking for a challenge that’s truly unforgettable, the Wing Walk is a bold and exhilarating way to push yourself while supporting families facing childhood cancer. Standing on top of a plane as it takes to the skies is a feeling like no other — a blend of adrenaline, freedom and pure excitement.
You’ll be securely harnessed to a specially adapted aircraft, guided by an experienced pilot and supported by a friendly team throughout your experience. And with spectators welcome, it’s a brilliant challenge to share with family, friends or colleagues who want to cheer you on from the ground.
Every moment you spend in the air helps us support families across Worcestershire, Gloucestershire and Herefordshire through some of their toughest times.
What happens on the day
When you arrive, you’ll be welcomed by the wing walk team and taken through a full safety briefing.
After getting strapped into your harness, it’s time for take-off.
Once you’re in the air, your pilot will guide the aircraft through gentle climbs, banks and dips — giving you an unforgettable view and an extraordinary sense of achievement. When you land, there’s plenty of time for photos and celebrations.
How fundraising works
There is a minimum fundraising amount for this challenge. Here’s how it works:
- Pay your deposit of £75.00
- Commit to raising a minimum of £1,000
- Set up your online fundraising page
- 100% of the minimum sponsorship must be received 8 weeks before your wing walk
Once this is met, we will cover the cost of your Wing Walk.
