Take on the Vietnam Hill Tribe Trek for Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer Trust

Trek through stunning mountain paths and soak in the breathtaking scenery of northern Vietnam, where every step brings a new and unforgettable view.
Along the way, you’ll experience the rich culture of local hill tribe communities — staying in traditional homes, sharing meals, and gaining a real insight into daily life far beyond the usual tourist trail.

This is your chance to discover the real Vietnam. From peaceful villages and terraced rice fields to bamboo forests and rugged jungle paths, this adventure immerses you in a world that feels completely untouched and authentic.

Your journey will take place in the beautiful Sapa region, close to the Chinese border, where golden rice terraces stretch across the mountains and shimmer in the sunlight. Over five days of trekking, you’ll explore remote trails, visit communities such as the Red Dao tribe — known for their vibrant traditional dress — and experience a way of life that few travellers ever see.

To round off this incredible experience, you’ll travel to the world-famous Ha Long Bay, where you’ll spend a magical evening on an overnight boat. As the sun sets over the limestone islands, you’ll have time to reflect, celebrate and take in everything you’ve achieved.

This is your chance to do something extraordinary — to explore, connect and be part of something that really matters. Every step you take will help support children and families facing childhood cancer, making your adventure even more meaningful.

How fundraising works

There are two simple ways to take on the Vietnam Hill Tribe Trek, depending on how you’d like to fund your place and support the charity. Both options include a £250 Airport Tax and Fuel Surcharge Contribution.

Option One — Minimum Sponsorship (Charity Place)

This option keeps your upfront costs lower while raising vital funds for the charity.

Registration Fee: £349

Minimum Sponsorship Target: £3,700

Airport Tax & Fuel Surcharge Contribution: £250

Your charity place allows you to take on a once-in-a-lifetime adventure while making a significant impact on families navigating childhood cancer. A large portion of your fundraising helps cover your challenge costs, while the rest directly supports our work. We’ll support you warmly throughout your fundraising journey with ideas, encouragement and resources.

Option Two — Self-Funding

If you’d prefer not to commit to a fundraising target, this option allows you to cover the cost of the challenge yourself and then fundraise freely at any level you choose.

Registration Fee: £349

Self-Funding Balance: £1,850

Airport Tax & Fuel Surcharge Contribution: £250

There are no minimum fundraising requirements with this option — though we’d love you to raise what you can to help us continue our vital work, funding pivotal research, raising awareness of signs and symptoms and support children and families when they need it most.
