Konsileo Supports Team Ladybird with Droitwich Football Club Shirt Sponsorship

Commercial insurance brokers, Konsileo, are supporting local children’s charity, the Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer Trust by sponsoring two teams from Droitwich Spa Youth FC who play in the Mercian Football league.

The Droitwich Under 13 Terriers are a brand-new team and needed new kit for the season ahead. Tim Rogers, Client Director at Konsileo has been heavily involved with the football club for several seasons and kindly offered to sponsor the new kit for the coming season. Konsileo went one step further and sponsored the away kit for the Under 14’s Vixen girls’ team as well.

The generosity didn’t end there though with Konsileo forgoing the opportunity to include their own logo on the front of the shirt, and instead kindly placing the charity’s logo on the front to raise awareness of the Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer Trust.

The Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer Trust is a great charity that does a lot of fantastic work within our community. When I heard that the charity was looking for ways to try and boost awareness within in the local community and improve people’s understanding of childhood cancer symptoms, I obviously wanted to help. As Konsileo have sponsored a team at Droitwich in previous seasons, I initially thought that this season it would be a great idea to put the charities logo on the front of a team’s shirts, rather than our own. In fact, we’ve actually gone one better, as having talked to the club we decided to put the charity’s logo on the shirts for both the Droitwich U13 Terriers & U14 Vixens girls’ teams and hopefully by doing so, we will help to spread awareness of the charity and their message even further!

How lovely to see the Trust’s logo on the football pitch. One of our key objectives this year is to increase awareness of our work and services across Worcestershire and beyond, so this gesture of support is just another example of how our wonderful community are playing a part in helping us to achieve our mission as a charity.

The football club are grateful for their new kit and proud to be raising awareness of such a worthwhile cause. The keen footballers are excited to continuing supporting the Trust by taking part in their Inflatable 5k event in October.
