We are looking for fabulous volunteers to become Treecycling Ambassadors over the next few months.

Last year, despite the pandemic and restrictions our Treecycling campaign raised nearly £4,000 collecting over 230 trees – for our first year doing this we were delighted with the results. This year we want to go bigger and better and this is where you come in!

This year’s campaign will take place on the 5th and 6th January and we are collecting all over Worcestershire. We are ‘tree-mendously’ excited to expand Treecycling, however to help us achieve this, we need support from amazing volunteers like you!

Areas we are covering this year are:

Wednesday 5th January: B60, B61, B96, B97, Barnt Green, Alvechurch, Feckenham and Inkberrow.

Thursday 6th January: WR1, WR3, WR4, WR5, WR7, WR9, WR10 and the villages local to the charity to include: Crowle, Upton Snodsbury, Broughton Hacket, White Ladies Aston and Drakes Broughton.

What will I be required to do as a Treecycling Ambassador?

As a Treecycling Ambassador you will support in the promotion of the Treecycling campaign this could include;

  • Door to door leafleting
  •  Sourcing locations to put up our posters e.g. supermarkets, village halls etc.
  • Asking local companies that sell real Christmas trees to have our leaflets
  • Researching local companies that we could contact to take part in treecycling e.g. gardeners, fencing companies, trees surgeons, any companies that would be able to provide a van!
