Registration for our 2022 campaign is now closed. We are unable to accept new bookings for this year due to high demand. Bookings for next year will open in November 2022.
Our third Christmas treecycling campaign will be back in January 2023, covering more areas and collecting even more Christmas trees!
Christmas is a time of year for family and friends and of course the all-important Christmas tree. We all love a real tree until the time comes to dispose of it after Christmas. Instead of having all those Christmas tree needles in the back of your car, why not ask the Grace Kelly Childhood cancer Trust to pick it up for you?
As a result of popular demand, we will be increasing the areas we cover to include:
Wednesday 11th January: WR1, WR3, WR4, WR5, WR7, WR9, WR10, St John's Worcester and the villages local to the charity to include: Crowle, Upton Snodsbury, Broughton Hacket, White Ladies Aston and Drakes Broughton.
Thursday 12th January: B60, B61, B80, B96, B97, B98, Barnt Green, Alvechurch, Feckenham and Inkberrow.
Due to such a high demand we have allowed 4 days for the collections, so we have Friday and Saturday to also collect from the above areas.
All you need to do is register for a collection and we will pick up your tree on the 11th, 12th, 13th or 14th January. It is as simple as that!
There is a minimum donation of £5 for us to collect your Christmas tree. This will enable us to cover the basic costs of our tree collection. If you wish to leave a donation to the Trust in addition to the £5 collection charge, this would be hugely appreciated. We are able to claim gift aid on your additional donation if you are a UK tax payer which could make your donation go even further.
The Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer Trust receives no statutory funding so is reliant on our fantastic fundraisers and donors to help us continue our vital work.
Deadline to register your Christmas tree is TBC. If your tree is over 8ft tall and you wish to book a collection, please make a note on your booking and if possible please chop it in half to make collecting easier.
We are also looking for volunteers to help with our treecycling so if you can spare some hours or can donate a van please call the GKCCT team on 01905 885777.
