We are proud to announce the launch of our new charity name. From today onwards, we will be known as the Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer Trust (GKCCT)
Our name change has been decided after many months of deliberation and hard work. The decision to make this change was to alleviate confusion and to make it clear from our title that we are a children’s cancer charity whilst continuing to recognise that the charity was established in memory of Grace.
Over the last 12 months, the charity has grown a great deal and has been honoured to welcome named funds to the charity. For these named funds, the change in name is also important. Our charity status and charity number will remain unchanged, but our website address and contact details are different.
You may have noticed the change to our logo as well. A big thank you to Angela Robinson for her help with the design of both the old and new logos.
The decision to change our logo has not been taken lightly. The new image you can now see is based on another of Grace’s treasured ladybird stickers. The difference is that this time the ladybird is flying. The inspiration of this new logo was suggested by Grace’s little sister Jess.
“Grace’s ladybird is spreading its wings to reach and help even more children.”
We are delighted to be taking on this name. Moving forward and most importantly, Grace’s ladybird will always be leading our way. Announcing the Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer Trust.
Because the children of today all deserve a tomorrow.
